MiniMatters is a wholly women-owned online video production and marketing business based in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Elissa Leif and Barbara Haupt launched MiniMatters because both realized that many organizations and businesses needed help accessing the potential of Web video. They also were looking to do good in the world in a way that was creative, collaborative and that allowed their entrepreneurial spirits to flourish.

Careful planning and innovative ideas resulted in MiniMatters winning 2nd place in the 2010 StartRight! Women's Business Plan Competition and the company's successful start with clients ranging from associations and foundations to community-based nonprofits and businesses.

MiniMatters' aim is to produce compelling Web-based videos to help associations, foundations, nonprofit organizations, and businesses engage, educate, and inspire others to make the world a better place.  Web videos may look small on the screen, but these web videos can lead to big results. So Mini really does Matter.

To accomplish this, Barbara and Elissa draw from their expertise in various fields and sectors of the economy, capacity to grasp new organizations and cultures quickly, and technical knowledge of video production and the Web.

They strive to support all clients in building their own capacity, while making Web video fun and easy.
